Education and work - Dissonant machines

boredom isn’t just apathy. In the right minds, it’s restless energy — the sense that "this can't be all there is." Education that stretches the mind can create this dissonance. You step into the world and think:

“Why does this system not match the complexity or beauty I glimpsed in school?”

And that tension can fuel change.

many institutions still train people as if they’re fitting into machines, not shaping them. And the economy runs on that predictability. by giving people more knowledge than they need, to plant the idea that the world is buildable and changeable. How changable is it?
