To be greedy about about a particular skill is still greed. A subtle interaction between the boring skull you give and the skill I think I want to give because I enjoy it is subtle balance that’s hard to get.

Knowing when to get out becomes easier and more natural as awareness of this becomes more clearer

To pretend as if - a popular concept indeed. Careful about what extent to pretend, but solves a lot of things i think. We’re generally reluctant to pretend because it means we’ve accepted the uncomfortable situation - when the uncomfortable situation is always there.
