old threads of expressions

The distinction between ‘Graphic designers, architects, sales people’ and ‘Writers, musicians, comedians, dancers, chefs, painters, poets’, and ‘speakers, activists and artists of similar roles’

The role of science in expression

Applied science - chemical, medical, environmental, computer, material, industrial scientists, and researchers, design and build what we take for granted in the contemporary world.

Graphic designers, architects, sales people take the products that scientists produce, and turn it into a form of art to be consumed by nearly everyone.

Speakers, activists, philanthropists, and artists in different forms enhance how we consume; making people aware of what and how they’re consuming. They speak to groups and often target certain communities and cultures. But more importantly, they speak to artists and feed them directions of thought to

The point to make here is the obvious importance of the consumer.

The way we consume what these producers have given us, when collected, is data; a product for researchers and scientists, to create yet another thread of products to be consumed by graphic designers, architects, and sales people, to create more threads of products. An endless cycle of production.

The often talked about point to make here is the important and often imbalanced relationship between art and science working together to produce and consume more better products.

Science is certainly doing it’s part on how we consume.

that have once been produced by the amalgam of science and art.

Most people don’t understand how their bodies work. Those who have a mild understanding, need to blindly follow evidence with trial and error to get back on track.

The role of the consumer in choosing what book to read, music to hear, paintings that feel close to them, words they find funny, food they enjoy, within the cultural landscape, regardless of whether the connection is genuine or often crafted by the producer, the artist, or the market.

Tosin Abasi, an atypical, eclectic, yet well-known musician in the progressive music community has popularised a technique no one has ever done before on an electric guitar; manifesting a musical expression. A singular person has reached hundreds then thousands of people and created a genuine connection to each individual person. Those connections have made their connections and created a group, a style, and a community called ‘Abasi concepts’. This community is now an expression that goes beyond Tosin Abasi himself with a lot people, ideas, and products involved. The consumer now is absorbing many different elements beyond the ‘audible’ element that Abasi created. The instrument itself, it’s unique shape, and the broader culture surrounding it are all part of the experience that creates a dent in identity.

Some of them created the instruments, the programs, the speakers that Abasi used to develop and externalise his music.

The role of music and when we listen to it

Who’s guiding what we listen to.

The acceptance that we are dumb and incapable. To surrender to what is. to fetch the stick. to eternally struggle to attempt to change and seek something.

The crises and the role of taste

The evolution of taste

forming energy and cognitive function

How would the machinic self be coherently connected with the manifested expression people make.

And how would it look like if everyone had a similar profile of sharing acts of consumption.

Creating another thread of production from consumption for a positive cause.
